Marco Ghini - Game Developer Portfolio

I am a Bachelors Computer Science student with experience in Game Design, Level Design, 3D Modelling, and Scripting.

In my final year of high school, I taught myself how to make a 2D platformer in GameMaker, and earned a Level 6 National Progression Award in Game Development. I made a few more short 2D games in Gamemaker, before deciding to move to a different engine, so I could learn how to create games using a 3D environment.

In April of this year, I revealed a demo of my first person shooter game, made in Godot, at an indie games showcase in Edinburgh, which received funding to be published on Steam.

Currently I am still working on my FPS project, titled BIOS, which I aim to release in September. However, during this time I continue to expand my knowledge and experience, especially in Blender, where I specialise in retro stylised character models and level environments, inspired by games from my childhood.

My published games are available to download and play on itch.io, where I have released them under the username Tarnished Glass
